Residence from Work
The Residence from Work category grants permanent residence to those migrants who have been living and working in New Zealand for a minimum of 24 months on -
1. Talent visas gained through their exceptional talent in a declared field of art, culture or sport;
2. Talent visas gained through their employment with “accredited employers” in New Zealand;
3. Long Term Skill Shortage List (LTSSL) work visas in occupations listed on the LTSSL, provided that they have remained employed in New Zealand in an LTSSL occupation throughout the 24 month period and on a minimum salary of $55,000.
In addition to meeting policy requirements, applicants must also meet health and character requirements.
